Ex Machina "the first hundred days"

I am a big Brian K Vaughn fan since i got into Runaways and this trade doesn't disappoint writing wise at all, honestly the concept is completely original - an ex superhero deciding to run for mayor of New York City probably doesn't sound as exciting as it really is, unless you like comics and the West Wing mixed in together.
But BKV does not skimp on the action and he doesn't water down the politics at all which makes for an exciting read no matter what your feelings are on politics, especially since every issue seems to start off with a flashback to his superhero days as "The Great Machine" and since Mitchell Hundred our lead protagonist is an independent you get a balanced look at both sides of the political spectrum especially since he has both democrat and republicans on his team it's nice to see BKV trying to offer a balanced look at both sides and not shove his political views down anyone's throat.

There is one big problem i have and that's the art by Tony Harris is overly photo referenced leading to strange and awkward gestures and poses.

I'm also curious why the NSA doesn't want him commenting on where his powers came from ? and why they don't want him to use his powers at all even to protect himself from an assassin.
